Blaming Simon

Its very easy for us all to blame ST for the s**t RM is in but who's really pulling the strings? He's just a mouth piece, someone prepared to put his face to the crap RM spout for a big pay day?

Trying to blame someone is just the easiest option people take when thing's like this happen. Companies squeeze people like us all the time, especially unskilled workers.
Not saying it's right but it's the nature of the business & they would of given someone else the same job to change the company if Simon wasn't in place.
The day we became private was a gamechanger for Royal mail. So whoever made that decision should be the one to blame.

It's just such an easy job to do. Simply requires a zero moral compass. You have a very sustainable business that offers an incredible spread sheet that reaches 30 million homes a day. 140000 people rely on said business for a roof and support for their families. Unfortunately said business under Blair decides to spend public money on acquiring gls in 99. A few years later let's open up the monopoly. Despite the fact that we require a monopoly to produce the service we provide. Oh s**t. There's no funds. Along come the tories and power hungry lib dem vince. f**k it let's flog it then we don't have to worry anymore. Investors will find gls attractive and then in the future once we've gone they can flog it and make a mint. There's this piece of s**t called Simon thompson I know who couldn't give to shiny shites. Sold his granny for a tenner for herpes cream .

C'mon let's keep it real, we are glorified paper boy's lol. I'm not the sharpest tool in the box but I've seen some real morons in this job & I'm sure you've worked with a few aswell.

Gotta be careful if you keep it too real, you get labeled a manager so I'll bring the levels down to 60%.
It does take skill to push paper through a door & knock a door to hand over a parcel :thumbup

Simon could just resign if he's not ok with what he's been pushed into by people above him.

In his interview he was most likely asked if his willing to push the company in a certain direction & obviously agreed. This is all speculation anyway. Pointless conversation to be honest. God knows what went on behind closed doors.

If it was just Simon who wanted to change he would get overruled by others. Maybe a few in disagreement but the majority of higher up's must be in agreement with how he's doing thing's. Businesses don't just get run by 1 person alone.
