New contracts.

Post by scotchy1962 »

Has anyone had their hours made up since the pay agreement was in place and did your new contract have Sunday working on it, a few in my office have been offered to have their hours increased with the caveat of working Sundays on it.
I thought this only applied to new staff.

If you have an existing contract and are simply increasing your working hours then the employer should just issue a variation to existing contract letter and not issue new contract which includes Sunday working but as this is Royal Mail they probably trying to pull a fast one!

Our DO tried that on in the past but then relented when hardly anybody took them up on their offer.
