Enquiry Office Hours Change 10/07/23

Post by t-c »

Good evening comrades,
So another Royal Mail institution, the Callers Office, hours will be changing as of 10/07, and what has those at HQ done for staff who can’t do a walk, covered by the Equality Act done to to help us or even raise awareness?
The answer is is nothing!
We pay our union fee, we come out fighting when they all us out to support the union, and then have turned their back on us now.
RM gave us 1 weeks notice of the office hours changing, I thought executive action had stopped, May be in other offices then, well thanks Andy, Dave Ward!

What have they offered to the caller's staff that are displaced that are unfortunately unable to do a walk?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

One payment was for doing door to doors the other is a delivery supplement.

Without going round in circles with this one again, the delivery supplement was sold to our DO at least as a replacement for D2D payments, CWU reps telling us that D2Ds were going to disappear within a couple of years so it's best to agree to a permanent supplement :thumbup

Can RM really impose changes without adequate notice especially with those who are covered by the disability and equality act?
I don’t think so,there are laws protecting employees which RM seem to want to evade.
