So shortsighted from Royal Mail, should be giving customers something other delivery companies don’t offer, the ability to pick up an item, locally and throughout the day

while our competitors are giving customers more and more options ,lockers, hubs, shop, pick up points Royal Mail are getting rid of their's, they are on about keeping up with competitors and modernising maybe the shareholders should of invested the £580 million they nicked.

Apparently there has been a massive fall in customers using the enquiry offices. Cant possibly think why!

I don’t leave anything in safe place unless advised on pda, I don’t sign for anything everything gets shuts. I bring back 10+ items a day, if that was replicated over the whole DO they would be putting hours in not taking them out.

You’d like to think so,but remember this is RM we are talking about
“Shorts,in this weather?!”

“If they’re bills I don’t want ‘em!”

“What’s she been ordering now?”

The RM board are only concerned about one thing - bleeding this company dry for the shareholders.
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

Unfortunately customers don't have the convenience or many choices like they used to. The amount of times I've seen a customer either wanting to pick up a parcel or send one away by using our label machine but can't because the opening hours have been slashed.

Most of the customers are understanding that it's not our fault, but some hurl some abuse at us which is unacceptable.

I certainly feel for those working in CSPs due to health conditions meaning they cannot go back on delivery. No doubt they will get pressurised to leave via the watered down IHR terms.
