RMCtv : Working together to turn the company around
Working together to turn the company around
We are pleased that the CWU is now putting the negotiators’ agreement to a vote of its members.
The ballot opens today Thursday 22 June and will close on Tuesday 11 July.
This is a critical time and we want to make sure all of our employees understand what is included in the agreement and what it means for them.
Press play to watch an animated, video version of the Agreement at a Glance, or click here to visit the transformation microsite that houses all of the materials relating to the agreement, including FAQs...

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Sorry, who is "working together"?
Posties are the only ones doing any productive work for this rotten company.

The only people that royal mail are working with is the cwu leadership by enslaving all posties.

Enslaving? Behave. It’s probably best you research the meaning of that word before comparing it to a voluntary paid job that is being offered more money in exchange for compromises to working conditions. Being made to work a bit later isn’t slavery.

it would not need turning around had it not been sailed into the iceberg ahead.

Carrying on that metaphor, that ship sailed when we all bent over and accepted being privatised, with the carrot of free shares in the company. That was where the battle should have been fought.
With the collapse of privatised water companies a reality, perhaps people will finally wake up. Operating crucial societal infrastructure for profit, does not work and never has. When you allow failing companies to dish out financial dividends while making operating losses it shows you the rampant corruption being perpetrated by this government.

It’s worth mentioning that the ‘compulsory redundancies’ and ‘profit share scheme’, only last for the term of this agreement.
The times and air hub plans don’t take place for up to three years by that time, when the changes are needed regarding staff numbers (and presumably when the company starts making profits - if the changes work!) the profit scheme will have ended and compulsory redundancies will be back on the table.

If rm workplace costs £4 a staff member a month as rumoured that’s a sizeable piece of cash as well.77SAMPOST77 wrote: ↑22 Jun 2023, 16:38They could save a shed load of money by closing down RMCtv and the courier magazine , Just a thought .

Maybe if we pick up all the pound notes falling out of the CEO's briefcase as he ascends the stairs to the rooftop helipad we can pay someone to clear a single lapsed walk.
The machine stops.

Me and most of my colleagues wont be working with you,the way your bosses treat us is a disgrace and your longer working days with little work life balance makes us work as little as possible so when we do have family time we are not falling asleep,so well done you have ruined your own company you tools.
