Is it too late to create a closed WhatsApp group to discuss this “deal” when it’s offered?

Don’t u already have a Union WhatsApp group at your office?

Just discuss it on there, we have already started and we haven’t even seen the offer yet

Who with? I don't see people on here sharing phone numbers with you. And this site itself is a communication tool for discussing such things.

If it's with work colleagues then there is nothing stopping you if they want to participate.
I'm turning purple!

We have 2 local union WhatsApp groups. Loads of information but the admins have blocked them so we can’t reply to anything

Got two in our office. One open forum, one you can't reply to, just info from the union.

What will you discuss on watsapp that you can't discuss here? Some of you guys really need to get a grip. This isn't some WikiLeaks or area51 info. If you disagree with the deal you can't openly express it here :arrrghhh

Essentially to avoid accepting a deal where people just see £1500 and jump in, but whatever 🤷🏼‍♂️ just follow the cwu lead 🐑

Great but surely a local one is just an echo chamber

I don't care what the deal is, if it's not back dated I'm saying no.

Maybe so but at least with an office group you know the people on it

So no trolls, no propaganda machines, no managers trying to sway your opinions and getting us to fight amongst ourselves

Just people that you work with everyday, who are in a similar position to you and have honest views

There’s a hundred people in our office and I spend about an hour a day in there

(longer than it used to be! thanks to taking half an hour per day off the full timers who no longer have enough time to have fittings prepped before we lowly part timers get there)

And I actually work while I’m there so unless they’re smokers, in which case I’ll bump into first thing in the shelter,

or if I’m van sharing with them or their fitting is close to mine then unfortunately I don’t have time to talk to them all during work hours

Plus we need a WhatsApp group to arrange our nights out so we can drunkenly solve all Royal Mails problems
