Re: We deserve a vote
I agree. It's becoming a joke and I'm sick of the anxieties surrounding it.

CWu statement on Facebook:
Sounds like a board power struggle.
Edit: And what happened to the whole "We're going into adminstration" storyline? I guess the writers got bored with that one.
Negotiations with Royal Mail Group concluded last night without agreement.
The company advised the union that the Directors who have been leading negotiations are no longer available and that the Board will be meeting today to determine their next steps.
There has been progress in several areas and the union made it clear last night that we are willing to continue negotiations today and tomorrow to finalise an agreement. This offer has been reiterated to the company this morning.
We will be consulting with the union’s Postal Executive later today, taking stock of the situation and considering all available options with regards to our next steps.
The company have published selected aspects of their latest offer directly to employees and claim that the main sticking point is new entrants terms and conditions. This is not true. We have seen these actions throughout this dispute from the employer and we know you will not be phased.
We will engage with all CWU members on the status of the whole talks, explaining exactly where the differences are, including the unacceptable pressures deliberately being placed on our members through imposed revisions that are failing quality of service and USO compliance.
Further information will be sent out in due course.
Thank you for your continued support.
Dave Ward
General Secretary
Andy Furey
Acting Deputy General Secretary (Postal)

We should be give. A vote on the offer being made to us. I’m done with the union if they refuse this out of hand without giving us a vote

Re: We deserve a vote
Don’t want a vote on RMs offer. It’s not deemed by CWU negotiating team to be good enough and that’s fine with me.
Funny how 1 minute they’re threatening posties with putting the business into administration then the next week they’ve found some money to improve the offer.
Do not trust RM. We’ve all seen the front men lying under oath.
STICK TOGETHER!

All out. It’s time people showed some grit and true leadership Sick of all this mr big bollocks talk.
“You don’t win a dispute running with your head down” - Mr Ward
Always been at least a month behind from the start. Now all the changes are in. Got nothing out of it. People have lost their jobs and you hid and ignored them. Mental health issues are through the roof and all of a sudden every other dispute is on the way to been sorted.
You fell for the trap. You got us in this mess and ruined circa 115k lives.
