The Communication Workers Union.

Following the Royal Mail Group Board meeting on Wednesday, negotiations have continued over the last 48 hours.
Some progress has been made but things remain at a very delicate stage.
We need every member to stand with the union in the coming days. It is your support that has moved the employer and will continue to do so.
Solidarity.

Solidarity.

A growing number of members are fully aware that somewhere down the line the CWU will meekly accept a shafting.

Every day that goes by Royal Mail can justify their case further.

Makes me wonder if the union know they are not getting anywhere and stringing it out for as long as possible to get extra weeks subs from members as they know there will be a mass of people leaving them when the talks do finally stop .

Really do think we are now being strung along by both sides.

Royal Mail final accounts had to be ready by 29/03/23 so they can be equality checked and published June 2023.

I know. This is like a bad TV show where the writers just don't care.

We were told that the board absolutely had to get everything sorted with the accounts by Wednesday. That everything was super-duper screwed if they weren't and that adminstration would come in and blah blah blah. Now, it's Accounts, what accounts?

This announcement will be fired out to every managers inbox by Royal Mails senior managers,it is a green light for them to increase the pressure on the staff,I am shocked at how out of touch the union seem to be
