Just a reminder...

Post by FirstPost »

Remember everything that us posties have been through the past two years. Here are just a few

*COVID and the insane workloads that came with it
*Losing a large amount of money striking
*Constant arguing at work and everything that goes with it
*The disrespect to us from those in charge

Just remember that if the deal isn't worth everything that we've been through then VOTE NO!

The 4th emergency service and essential workers. We deserve more than what has been offered so far

If the union officialdom don't come up with a better deal than we have seen so far and it's only a wishy washy, understand companys position and saved few suspended peoples jobs...then it may well be a rare but appropriate NO NO NO from those who are the actual union.

If you honestly believed that, I can see why the company has tried to mug us off all this time

I didn't believe it, I'm just pointing out what the union tried to sell us as to Royal mail

I don't expect much from a company that has stopped refilling the drinks machine. Perhaps we'll get 4% backdated to the start of March and a sweetener deal of a flashing amber light to acknowledge the unions claim to being the forth emergency service (I remember it to). I would love telling the newbie to stick that on the roof as we leave the yard.

Whatever the deal looks like,it will probably be voted in.
I believe most have just had enough and will take whatever the union put in front of them.
Be nice if they got told it's not good enough, but not enough would be willing to do so,
Which is a shame after everything we've been through.

The CWU have been in talks or contact with RMG for so long there seems to be a disconnect with the people they're representing. They don't have any grasp of the depth of anger and disappointment felt by the members, going by our office and others close by. They may prepare for an exodus from the union and subsequent loss of funds, added to those already left the business.

That and wouldn't be leaving things all the way to the deadline or in CWU's case past the deadline. Does nothing but case unnecessary anxiety if they did hold good news for that long and be cruel to do that.

The problem would be that if they did that, and then had to compromise a bit on it even slightly, we'd be even more hacked off
