Are the CWU fighting for a backdated payrise?

Post by FirstPost »

Does anyone know if they are actually fighting for a backdated payrise to the financial year?

They have a plan, they assure us they have a plan. If anyone finds out what it is, unless they are sworn to secrecy you will know. In the meantime, rest assured, they have a plan.

Meanwhile, we only know too well what Thompson's plan is for us.

That's all I need to know, to keep striking when I have to, and just work my paid hours, no overtime.

Be nice if they came up with a new offer.

I think Simon is more stubborn than the wife when it comes to any offers. It's been months without a counterintuitive offer of more than the overall 5.5%.

Backdated pay will hit the business hard the longer he leaves it :arrrghhh

Yes, of course CWU are after a backdated payrise, not sure how anyone can expect them to publicise their demands during the negotiating process. Stay strong, lets keep ramping up the pressure on UnSuper Si by supporting strike action and get him to drop the Tory cabinet minister smarmy get act and get involved in meaningful negotiations to resolve this mess that he's exacerbating.
