Disappointed too, been checking all day, they must be busy at the war table, cigars and whiskey at hand (both sides)

The CWU met with Royal Mail Group today.

We will update our branches fully tomorrow at a national briefing.

Talks will continue on Wednesday.

The strike planned for Thursday will go ahead.

It is absolutely critical that the focus remains on continuing to deliver the outstanding support for action we have seen thus far.

Why not meet Tuesday obviously rm are time-wasting and there's no agreement due any time soon or they would be in talks Tuesday aswell

I’m guessing it’s because the union will be at their national briefing.

Don't think that we will hear it all until Wednesday. Reps are all off to local union meetings tomorrow.

So CWU national meeting tomorrow 11th October, was organised prior to LTB 387-22 dated 27th September. Obviously before CWU knew they would be meeting RM today 10th October.
LTB 400-22 which is posted up today (10th Oct?), according to the link, is actually dated 7th Oct which is obviously before todays meeting. So wtf was today's meeting for?

I'm likely not following this correctly as I don't understand the timeline. Can someone please help me understand this?

I don't think we are getting the truth from royal mail or the union . Something doesn't seem right.

Perhaps I’m being over optimistic but if they are continuing talks on Wednesday then hopefully something will be in the pipeline. The meetings recently haven’t lasted long and they definitely haven’t gone back for more talks as quickly. We’ll see. :hmmmm

Sorry. I guess I didn't read LTB 400-22 properly.
That letter dated 7th October was sent to ST to outline and reiterate what the CWU topics of conversation were going to be today and that he was going to be asked to provide answers. (and rightly so).

Just different dates popping my head. Small brain syndrome. Sorry.
