Look, you really shouldn't post that, the, you have known for ages brigade and saved some money, you can work your day off brigade, a small amount now or a big amount forever brigade will be along soon to preach to you about staying strong.

Truth is, there are many that are struggling and I agree with you, it needs sorting, especially as we went out for a no strings pay rise and Martin Walsh on here has now said it isn't happening.

Re: No strings Pay deal dead?
No Jagger.

We've come to far and We've all earned the right to a better deal for our work in recent times.

I don't think that's acceptable and neither should you and everyone else.

We need to be aiming much higher

Re: money or terms
No claymores that's not acceptable and the CWU should rebuff that offer.

We need an inflation busting pay-rise.

With the terms, nothing is negotiable full stop.

Thanks for your comments.

It was just an observation really as it was really low.

I'm all for the strike action by the way and i would like to see a resolution.

Did anyone else notice the low amount ?

It is what we called thinking out loud... By the way, there is nothing wrong with wanting the situation resolved as soon as - although it goes without saying.

I should add that 2 consecutive days showed more prominently on the wage packet, yet we have some advocating for a full week strike...

The rest of the October strikes are not going to achieve anything other than more talks about talks. It is however a bit of a waste of income - our wages; and the more we lose the less attractive the strikes are and less likely the CWU can make us better off than the so-called 5.5% pay rise with changes...

* It is also worth noting that the pensionable pay is also affected.

I think we should be viewing the Strikes one week at a time. Every week pressure is building up on Simple Simon to get a resolution (unless you're factoring in any conspiracy theories).

I must amit some posties nearly had a heart attack when it was intially announced that we were going to have 19 days of Strikes! :cuppa

Looked at this weeks wages and thought more about go part-time, with a day off and 2 days IA a 3-day week was a nice balance. Granted, I'm not saddled with a massive mortgage and fancy stuff on credit.
if simon the moron gets his way part-timers will not exist as everyone will have to complete their duty or be fired so you could be working 40-50 hours a week and not getting paid for it !

Take the beating now boys and girls.

It's a tough time, but it's only money in the short to medium term as opposed to us being f*cked for good.

Beg steal or borrow before we back down to these cun*s.
