We've heard what Royal Mail wants and no real response from our union. All gone very quiet in the CWU.
Would be good if Simon Thompson and Dave Ward had a debate. With Posties giving questions and them both giving there constructive replys. And then we can decide what way we want to go.

What would be the point ? Simon could say anything, doesn’t mean he would have any intention of honouring anything just like all the agreements he has just ripped up .

Well Dave Ward is busy with the BT Openworld strikes today....been on TV this morning from a picket line so he won't be focusing on Royal Mail today for sure. This is part of the problem with the CWU - Ward is having to jump between different CWU represented trades, most of which are in dispute with the employers so the best you can expect from him is a bit part support.

So that only leaves an Acting DGSP in Pullinger's absence? So don't wish for anything big too soon.

Trivial in comparison to now what's going on but he lied at the very beginning about pdas. He said " they are the rolls Royce of pdas" off the back of that if I win the lottery I would never purchase one. The shear threat of rain and the pda messes up. You can't get signatures or take pictures without repeatedly turning the screen on and off. The guys a compulsive liar and I fear not mentally stable. His desire for even more money is stronger than any values he may once have had. The true meaning of the word SCUM!!!!!

Not arguing with your comments about our illustrious leader, but regarding the problem about the PDA in the rain,
have you tried (from the main screen where you see the six 'tiles' for outdoor, indoor, vehicle check etc.) selecting
the three dots at the top right of the screen for settings and selecting 'Finger Only' for the screen (instead of finger
and stylus). This enables the PDA to be more receptive to your finger in the rain as it thinks raindrops are the stylus
so removing that option makes it operate a bit better in rain. I've done it and it does work.

Would be pointless IMO....

Thompson is awaiting a take over to go through and then the company could be broken up....

We are just waiting for this take over to collapse or go through.... then we'll have a better idea of what's happening.
