Send Parcels the easy way.

Post by Trumanity »

I see Royal Mail are advertising tonight on ROYALMAILCHAT.

Send Parcels the easy way.
Save time and money. Buy your postage online and hand your parcel to your postie.
Easy peasy…unless your postie is striking for a fair pay deal, that is!

You can do letters as well!

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Had one customer today who did one parcel the correct way and then passed me another (albeit much smaller packet) as
a 'can you just take this one as well'.........

Me too. I like the line that goes something like “your postie would love to stop and chat but, you know, parcels to collect”. In reality it’s more like “your postie would love to stop and chat but it would show up on his pda that he is not moving and he’ll be called in to the managers office tomorrow and asked to justify it” but that’s probably not the image they want to portray.

I collected a "medium size parcel" today, which wouldn't fit in my HCT.

Check before you go out and if you see anything larger than a small parcel/letter on your PDA tell your manager they need to tell a driver to pick it up. I had one the other day, must have been half the size of a green bin! Told the guy that there was no way that was going in my HCT. RM need to remember it is the HCT user who is responsible for the mail integrity and putting a huge parcel on top is not secure!

First ever customer collection was like that. Had to go back when I had finished and balance it on top of the HCT all the way to the DO.
