Loss of MGV money

Post by Deanboy »

Under the new so called offer they said MGV allowance is going. This is not an allowance it is in our basic pay. This was agreed as we were restricted on overtime due to tachometer regulations. Can anyone clarify this

At a guess they mean people who still get paid the mgv allowance as a grandfather righs even if they don't drive them anymore. As you said the mgv allowance is part of your basic pay now

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
