How many days will USO be in future

When the dust is settled how many days will the USO cover?

It is definitely going to be 5 days maximum. I can’t see anything being settled before a general election though, as it is a bit of a political landmine.

Probably a 5 day, but doesn't make any difference to us on delivery - you won't get Saturday off, and you'll be expected to do pkts and oversize ( when the agency go)

Long term it wouldn't surprise me to see letters and flats being once a week, with the total number of walks divided by either 5 or 6 and that would be how many walks worth goes out each day. Over the last decade I don't think I've had a single letter in the post that really needed to be next day

How would you know that.?
I've had plenty from courts, hospitals, bank cards,solicitors. Just because you aren't waiting for something doesn't mean others aren't

After the election i think 3 - 4 days USO no weekends unless its special or tracked 24/48, with hospital letters and such bundled in with parcels to help RM gain on all fronts.

Hope the drop in USO does not mean drop in personnel .

Hospital letters might end up being sent as Tracked. We get the odd Tracked item through the mech so some MC somewhere is putting Tracked letters through their iLSM or IMP. Unless we happen to spot it, it'll go through to the DO with the sequenced. I've occasionally found the odd SD in with the mech.

Who cares it will happen ,because we are so closely connected its even more of a reason,internet is king and it isn't going away.

Plenty of guess work going on here , let’s be honest nobody can predict what these clowns will do next . The only saving grace is that it will need a change in legislation that won’t come easy.
