A few months ago there was a list of every offices planned later start time has anyone got that list please

Unless they're factoring in lorries doing MC to DO runs getting held up in traffic, there's no way that you'll have the different DOs in the area covered by the MC starting at different times. The final dispatch will be made how ever later, then the start and finish times at DOs (and for nights in MCs) will be adjusted by the same amount of time

Why do they all vary....

Luckily our office finish time isn't too late and maybe dodges most of the school traffic when leaving to go home....

but some offices are finishing in the 5pm to 6pm rush hour. That sucks for them.

Assuming the MC distrubution drivers keep their current start time, they would effectively be arriving at an empty office and having to unlock the gate, turn off the alarm if fitted and unload into the offices unless a manager comes in early to open up.......or the MC start times wil shift forward to match, rush hour traffic will have to be taken into consideration.

Some are already up in arms if they don't get it by 9am.

Some were paying almost £5000 to get it by 8 or 9.

Also the price of 9am specials can be £20-30 for one item.

That is not going to be happening if the postie has to go out mid-prep and deliver and return because that could take 40 minutes unless they send out a single postie doing all the 9am specials for the whole office.

RM can kiss that income goodbye.

Start and finish times in MCs on nights for both processing and distribution are almost certainly going to be made later anyway, with the way RM now load up the lorries. In a lot of cases we used to get a part filled lorry early then from the same RDC we'd get another part filled lorry later on. Now they send jst one lorry, probably around the time of the later one would have been, maybe later, which is full.

For some DOs the final wave won't have arrived at the DO by 09:00. My gut feeling is that RM might look at off-loading the 9am specials over to PF

These will be worst case scenarios can see a compromise with union talks probably reducing these later starts by half but who knows

Is there a time frame for when and if rm want to start the later times .would they have to give us some sort of notice .

Most people could probably manage an hour later but anymore would create major concerns chid care and other commitments

We're in the what's looking to be "standard" 8am gang so also about an hour.

Interesting to see the variation of office sizes as the list shows the amount of duties per office, did anyone notice wombourne do? must be a nightmare when they lapse a duty or someone phones in sick although the ips should be easy to learn.

We were told it’s over 3 years. Ours is 2 hours later so 40 mins in year one etc etc
