It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Sounds like worse is to come, depending on what tactics there talking about?
I did listen to most of what Dave was saying last night, and it's true that most workers especially in my office just want to do a good job by trying to get rid of the parcels & mail.
The problem we face right now is the dispute (strike days), xmas volumes, and the shoe string of a budget on overtime, it's an impossible task to clear anything right now. Past worrying or caring because the management dont seem to bothered.
