Listen, the money on offer for VRs is worth in real terms about 6 months worth in this climate, if royal mail seriously want rid of us all and their own workers in , they will have to pay us a lot better than 9 months and 6k thats next to nothing. The cwu have lost ,well beat, what exactly have they done for us other than lose us money and more money to come, the best the cwu can do now is get us better redundancy terms before u make ur decision to go or stay, least they can do for putting us through this misery.

Absolutely, the terms are not great, it puts at disadvantage longest serving people. If you are somewhere in the middle the offer is definitely worth considering it is better than statutory. Especially given where the job is now and where it is heading. If people think they can win this dispute they need to wake up now. . If there is no huge turnaround within a couple of days this is it. Some people will bleed themselves dry thinking that they are going to get 10-12% pay rise and with no serious strings attached. Especially when Simon is in charge.

14 years service ur only looking at 15k then, that wont last u a year, time u pay a heavy car bill, mot, insurance, electricity, all the other bills, reality will kick in, uve been shafted. At least let the union try to get a better offer before yous all submit the button, then u can come back with a smile on ur face

It's just been announced by Andy Fury on the live update that there's 11200 agency staff employed in the whole of RM....that's their redundancy problem solved right there. But they've said f**k all about that though...begars belief

14 years service 49 years old was 35 weeks plus 6k so was looking around 22k unless i miss read it so tax free is more than 12 months pay

I have been here 12 years and mine is 34 weeks plus 6k
