Inflation and GDP is lower than before pandemic

Post by k979aaa »

Of Course we can say we the nation had to pay this and that when the pandemic happened but our GDP is lower than any other western nation you may ask WHY!
All of this GDP is a gauge of wealth of the nation it determines what we can borrow and at what rate from other nations or the world bank and has an effect on us all by interest rates and the supply of money and investment.
WHY will become apparent in time the whole world has faced these problems better than us every nation has been effected by the war in the Ukraine and most in the west have done better than us WHY.
This is a cost of living crisis bought on by capitalists the same ones who need you to work till you drop dead and not burden the system not that most of them paid a penny into it as tax evasion is rife in the elite of our nations politicians and advisors.
The fact is now hitting home BREXIT was a sham it is a disruptor in name only and the EU now have turned their back on us because of regulations that we renounced here is a video why BREXIT has failed us and our nation : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_lZhKFMQ2JE

Brexit was your own fault. Suck it up and swallow. Where I'm based we said no thanks and got a lovely protocol.

Simple. One more step to a border poll. As an ex-pat I couldn't deny my neighbours the chance of escaping Englandshire. A chance of a better future away from Westminster and its poison. Living here has changed my outlook on life and the company we work for.

Yet Northern Ireland had the highest growth rate than any of the regions in the UK , 2021- 2022. That was with Brexit Protocal in place!

How's it changed your outlook re the company ?

A friend works in the Edinburgh area and they have the exact same problems that those in England have .

Everybody was told Brexit would be a serious hit to the UK economy, they voted for it anyway, and we suffer the consequences. Covid largely masked the issues, but it's pretty clear the UK's economy is much weaker as a result of Brexit.

To relate this to the dispute. I think the UK population was fed up, looking to shake up the status quo. Brexit was obviously an act of self harm, but it was also an act or rebellion from people not satisfied with how things are being run in the UK, unfortunately for them, they got duped. The EU and immigration was blamed as the bogeymen, and if we got rid of them, things would be better. Well they aren't better, 12 years of Tory rule will see to that.

The Truss economic plan (she was just the puppet), a low tax, low regulation economy to compete on the global market. It blew up before it got off the starting blocks. So, we now face austerity 2.0 (to balance the books), with a weakening economy, people are now taking the desperate act of "going on strike" and withdrawing their labour, to try and get a better cut of an ever decreasing pie. People are finally aiming their disdain at the place it should have been aimed in the first place, and thankfully at the Tory party, but at a time when there's no money, and after having given them a massive majority. The responsibility for this, lies with the people that voted them in.

So to keep us plebs in check, we'll have a long recession, and people will go back to just being grateful they have a job. There are no sunny uplands, just a gradual decline of living standards, for us, not them.

None of the major parties now have a solution to get out of this mess, we suffer a material decline in living standards, as a result of people's dumb choices, or dumb people's choices.... you decide.

Not sure why Brexit is to blame when the UK has blown eye-watering sums on Covid as well as putting up illegal immigrants in Hotels, nothing to do with Brexit.
The UK government has also borrowed the whole Welfare budget for the past 10 years again nothing to do with Brexit.
Sanctions against the World's 2nd biggest energy producer has backfired in spectacular fashion causing massive inflation, nothing to do with Brexit.
Rishi Sunak has also pledged £11.6 billion to fight Climate Change.
The funny thing is that most of the Socialists and Virtue signalling public fully support all of these Conservative policies.
Unfortunately our economy doesn't produce enough wealth to pay for all of this nonsense so look forward to financial repression via higher taxes.

What on earth is Brexit to do with Pay Talks 2022?
It has created inflationary pressures because of the lack of workers border checks and lack of investment all this is why inflation is at 11%. All because some sad people in June 2016 most whom are probably dead now voted for change!
What a master stroke of conservatism that was and could not foresee events most people now know the Russians were payrolling BREXIT because it broke the EU up and weakened it but it also weakened the UK at the sametime.
This whole Crisis was stoked by the very people who espoused BREXIT in all it's forms they created the conditions that we are suffering now yet expect the working man to pay the price.
The whole costs of which we should absorb the impact of inflation by the cost of living crisis that they made happen only One government has presided over us all this time and this directly is the cause of the strikes.
And thus pay talks 2022 take the bilikers of your eyes and you will see go to the high street it is dead like the economy is!

The creation of Trillions of currency units by the UK/US and EU is to blame for inflation and sanctioning the World's 2nd largest energy supplier.
It's pretty delusional to think that Brexit caused all of this inflation.

The EU have turned their backs because they have bled us dry for decades, and now there is no money left they don't want to know, yet the UK still pays more into Nato than any other european country, its time for us to leave and let the Europeans start looking after themselves, the British taxpayer has been paying to look after these countries for 100 years it must stop now.Brexit maybe not now but in years to come will be our countries saviour, and we need to stop the illegal migration costing us over 2 billion in hotel bills, time to be tough the British people need a payrise and now.
