Strike Dates
I am confused as to when we are going to be on strike, with all the changes maybe we could have a post pinned at the top with the dates of the proposed strikes which could be kept up to date/edited to make things a little easier to follow.
If anybody could enlighten me as to the current proposed dates I would be grateful, my calendar has so many dates marked as strike days it looks like in one week we are striking Monday, Thursday and Friday !!

Re: Strike Dates
Are those the only ones for now, I had the Monday 21st marked as a strike day?

Re: Strike Dates
Thank you we do need a list of dates at the top of the page though, maybe Postman can sort this for ease of reference

Re: Strike Dates
The dates are everywhere. There's loads of other threads here and the dates are on the majority of them

Re: Strike Dates
The dates are everywhere I agree, however reading through all the different posts takes so much time and conflicting opinions often cloud the true dates, a simple post pinned to the top with the current dates and which functions they apply to would be helpful to everyone. I realise that the current strike dates are all functions for now but maybe that will change. Often an important update gets missed due to the shear volume of replies to certain posts.
The information conveyed on the videos available often contradicts what is actually true.

Re: Strike Dates
As above, yes we know the dates are published in several places but there's no need to ridicule someone asking with a banging head against a wall smiley, perhaps it could be possible to have the dates pinned to the top as people are asking.

Re: Strike Dates
24/25 are the next dates and that assumes the CWU give formal notice tomorrow. If they don't then, legally, those dates can't go ahead.ted_e_bear wrote: ↑09 Nov 2022, 18:26As above, yes we know the dates are published in several places but there's no need to ridicule someone asking with a banging head against a wall smiley, perhaps it could be possible to have the dates pinned to the top as people are asking.

Re: Strike Dates
Well, reading an article in today's Guardian (the 9th) and seen this:
Unless I'm completely out of the loop this weeks action has been and is cancelled right?
https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/202 ... ect-the-ukRoyal Mail workers
Two 48-hour strikes by Royal Mail workers will take place on Saturday and Monday in a row over pay, jobs and conditions
Unless I'm completely out of the loop this weeks action has been and is cancelled right?

Re: Strike Dates
May I suggest that a "sticky" thread is maintained, which is constantly updated with the latest set of plannned strike dates (and locked to replies)? This would be easier than scourering through out of date posts, looking for current info.
Also, the current live strike dates are kept updated via the CWU webiste at https://www.cwu.org/rmgstrikeinfo. This shows only the two planned 48 hours strike each side of Black Friday and Cyber Monday are currently live future dates and any other previously announced dates have been cancelled.
