What are the strike dates now?
Any idea what days are confirmed for action now, apart from 12 & 14th?

Re: What are the strike dates now?
Any dates will now be the 12th or later, as that allows for the Union providing 2 weeks notice. I'm assuming rolling strikes are dead in the water, and we'll see a series of All Out dates appear.

You'd think / hope they will announce more all-out dates to replace the cancelled rolling ones.

I guess they are working on it but need two weeks notice, Lets see how the talks go and if people can be bothered to turn up and not have social media commitments instead of running a business!

Re: What are the strike dates now?
If they only have to give two weeks notice of strike action there's no reason why they can't announce more strike days in November. If ST doesn't come to meetings in next few days and start taking these talks seriously then the Union should announce more days asap.

Seconded 100% a window of opportunity exists but they need to take this really seriously it is the last chance for RM!ninja22 wrote: ↑30 Oct 2022, 14:17If they only have to give two weeks notice of strike action there's no reason why they can't announce more strike days in November. Re: What are the strike dates now?
This is probably a stupid question, but if the rolling strikes were cancelled on a technicality, what's to stop the union fixing the technicality and announcing rolling strikes in December?

Re: What are the strike dates now?
I believe the the technicality was about how many were going to be off on IA on those rolling days, I'm guessing since there is a number of MC's that have DO's attached to them made things a little more difficult, again, I'm only guessing. I would have thought if that is what it was, then the next 10 days would give the union time to fix that. But I hope, that the union announce more AO days to replace the rolling days then well into December.

Re: What are the strike dates now?
Didn't Andy say it was virtually impossible to have the necessary information 100% accurate.
Was it pointless announcing the rolling strikes if they knew they would be challenged?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.
