Not checked but it wouldn’t surprise me. They done the same thing in a previous dispute. I think Tuesday is the cut off day for inputting any changes on the payroll system so could have deducted both last Thursdays and todays strike action.

why though? That's 2 different weeks?

So, are staff getting paid 3 days wages this week, even though they worked 4 days last week.

This case of deducting more than they should have seems to be another demonstration of EA. It's totally unacceptable! :no no

Perhaps consider taking your own action - grievance, cut off daily, or if it's totally stressing you out, self cert & see how you feel after 7 days? You may need longer given the current unprecedented circumstances!

Because they can. Because they want to punish us. Because they want people to think twice about the affordability of taking further strike action.

They can do it because we don’t work a week in hand. The wage we get paid this Friday is for the work we do this week so if it’s practical for them to take it this week they are perfectly within their rights to do it.

So if I'm reading this right, last Thursday's strike day was my day off, I would have got a full week's wage this week, but they've deducted today's strike day this week, so next week I'll get full pay?? Got a headache now :arrrghhh

Yep. Should mean no deductions in next weeks pay. Of course that doesn’t help anyone losing more than expected this week who had budgeted for any bills going out of their account this week.

Obvious mistake up by the CWU, as if we had been on strike tomorrow then we would have only lost one day's pay this pay packet.

You can't really blame RM for doing just what the CWU have allowed them to do.

I’ve had a days pay deducted although my day off last week was Thursday and my day off this week is today?

Buggers!! Hopefully this means next week's strike day won't be deducted?

And guessing it'll happen again on 25/11 pay too 😭
