Can't believe he would post like that on a public forum, proper unprofessional. He must know all these threats aren't gonna help him out.
Then we heard about him walking in & out of meetings last week. Show's how much he doesn't care.

Thompson's a pratt.

All we have to do is, match his resolve to turn us into low-paid slaves, with a resolve of our own never to just simply let him get away with it, get a multi-million £ handshake, and walk into another role where he repeats the mayhem he's causing at Royal Mail, inflicting it on some other workforce.

Do that, and we will win. It might take quite a while, but we will eventually win.

Remember, without us nothing gets done.

OMG! If he's going to stop our £140,000 Christmas bonus we'd better call off the strikes and just take whatever shitty pay and conditions he deigns to give us.

Hold on a bit. It is only Simon who gets a meaningful bonus. After tax and national insurance we get the square root of f**k all.

All this does is demonstrate that he is seriously worried about the Christmas period. Time for the union to announce plans for rolling strikes throughout December.

No bonus for Simon next year, with this year's bonus equivalent to roughly 6x the gross wage of a postie outside London. :Boo hoo! :Boo hoo! :Boo hoo! :Boo hoo! :Boo hoo! :Boo hoo!

Just think on this, Simons £140’000 bonus earlier this year, would take us over 700 Christmas’ to earn.

700 years and we would match his annual bonus.

is this bloke for real does he think that our christmas just revolves around the bonus ? :left: , me thinks this bloke needs to put all his time getting in the room with the CWU and try getting an agreement before the rolling strikes hit then s**t will hit the fan , instead of putting shite like he does on his little workplace as he is just pissing everybody off even more and making matters even worse . great work :thumbup

Agent Thompson - secretly working for the CWU as a motivational speaker to boost the resolve amongst striking postal workers.

The bonus is an insult. £100 for working your butt off through xmas and being banned from booking time off to spend the Christmas period with your family. Royal Mail don't value us. They see us as a machine which is pumping out cash for them at that time of year and they reward us with a measly £100. I get more from the customers at Xmas than I do in reward from the company I work for.

At least with striking we'll finally get to enjoy an Xmas break.

If the public are smart - they'd buy any xmas presents now and send xmas cards earlier. It's not like they aren't getting enough warning.
