Not surprised
Agency worker out today gets paid more than me
£18 per hr for Sunday shift
£14 + per hr weekday
And agency get £13 for every hr worked
And they can’t pay their loyal staff a decent increase
Joke of a company
S Thomson. You haven’t got a f***ing clue

Re: Losing 1 million a day
No sick pay.
No holiday pay.
No N.I contributions of note.
No pension contributions of note.
The company will say(to their accountants, not publicly of course) that they’re well up on that little deal.
A race to the bottom where nobody wins who wasn’t rich originally.
Do they have a “I’m feeling shameful” option on workplace?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

"Now if we take this measurement as the average garden path and train the OPGs to throw letters into the letterbox from this distance we could save 15 seconds per delivery on average. Times that by delivery points per walk then add more delivery points according to total time saved. We start trials 1st thing Monday morning"POSTMAN wrote: ↑14 Oct 2022, 15:41Who'd a thought we are paying these people off of our backs...
