So much for non disclosure and confidentiality blah,blah,blah. RM are the first ones out of the blocks to issue some sort of statement on the talks. The union has been outsmarted yet again by these imbeciles and they still want to carry on talking. RM have stated no more crumbs for us, so it’s time to strike now,WTF are they waiting for?
CWU over to you
Disclose everything about the talks,
We want ALL the information - not the bullshit that RM have released

Tomorrow at 7pm we will be live to you to let you know exactly where we are in the Royal Mail Group dispute.
You’ve trusted your union all the way through this dispute. You know we have your backs and we have yours.
But what’s worse - RM would want the CWU to put both offers up to the membership knowing full well;
1.) It’d split the vote between the two offers and ‘no deal’.
2.) That a lot of members would be lured by the bigger lump sum with option B even though that’s by far the worse of the two.
At least with option A the 6% from April 2023 would apply to overtime and pension contributions etc and in theory compound the following years 2% up a bit.
I would say we should be looking for at least;
• £2,000 lump sum payable immediately
• 5% from 2023
• 5% from 2024
I know that’s not much better but it’s in the ballpark range of what RM are showing is available minus their accounting tricks.
One further point - I think the previous ‘final offer’ was potentially better because it would have forced the company to come to the table again in October.
The deal above isn't actually bad and if the CWU don't put this to vote they're probably signing our P45.
The deal on pay with the largest lump sum equates to 14% over the next two yrs or 16% if you include the 2% we have had already. With inflation set to fall to 3% by 24 it's not a million miles away from keeping up with inflation over that 3yr period.
The 500 lump sum option would equate to just over 10% so not as good as the biggest lump sum option.
Incidentally both options you end up on same basic wage after 2 yrs whichever way round you take the 2% and 6% .
No compulsory Sundays.
Existing allowances not touched.
No later starts for a year.
The Union has to put this to a vote IMHO.
absolutely..if not I'll be pulling my subscription
