We are the last courier onto the industrial estates already, come June we have been told by local businesses that they will seek alternatives. There is no point ordering supplies that arrive late afternoon or come Friday most of the firms will be closed for the weekend! That morning void we are creating will be eagerly filled by DPD, UPS etc

Don't worry royal mail will probably counter that by introducing a few new products, I predict tracked 9, 10, 11, and 12luddite wrote: ↑25 Feb 2024, 07:16We are the last courier onto the industrial estates already, come June we have been told by local businesses that they will seek alternatives. Re: NETWORK CHANGES - LATER START AND FINISH TIMES IN DELIVERY OFFICES
Weren't the 9AM Specials an expensive replacement for the first delivery, or at least came to be for businesses? After the times shifted later again in 2007 I had a business complaining about not being able to complete their Friday payroll because I wasn't getting there until after lunch. The options presented were to collect it from the CSP or start forking out for one of our time guaranteed products. It's called rent-seeking. Wave of the future.ted_e_bear wrote: ↑25 Feb 2024, 09:42Don't worry royal mail will probably counter that by introducing a few new products, I predict tracked 9, 10, 11, and 12luddite wrote: ↑25 Feb 2024, 07:16We are the last courier onto the industrial estates already, come June we have been told by local businesses that they will seek alternatives.
