We certainly haven’t been told that and if we did we would argue that full time employees are entitled to a 40 minute break every day and if you want to reduce it on shorter days we will want to increase it on the longer days to compensate.
You would base your argument on what?
We have a national agreement which clearly sets out how long your meal relief should be according to your hours.
Maybe you should argue that all national agreements should be done away with? Leaving you with the minimum legal requirement of a 20 minute unpaid meal relief?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.
Can't get my head round the 14 mins only on day's 7 hour's or less. Agree meal relief is only 30 min entitlement but that doesn't alter the working day's hour's and we should be getting 24 mins each day. Glad if someone can explain this because if anything we lose 10 min break and lose 10 min of the 24!!!
If on anual leave during this 5 week period, does this mean that 24 minutes less per day are taken from annual leave for those on a 37 hr week and the same sort of scenario reflects p/t workers, 35hr full timers ect ?

as a full timer i was told im owed 2 hours back for this week off. Whether they actually bother doing it is another thing
Interesting . I won't ask who told you that and presume you are keeping an eye on the app to see if there is any uplift on hours to still be taken this year.
Anyone else on here already taken annual leave in this 5 week window noticed any hourly uplift on their allocted annual leave?

my line manager said that. But in our place they happily dont pay you ovetime, and consider you a pain in the arse if you spend weeks asking for it
so am i right in reading this that we only work 39 hours Nov - Dec this year 2024 , so why if any leave is taken in september they are deducting 39 hours from your leave ? instead of 37 hours, and has anybody been given the leave hours back from the 39 hours last year ? , there taking the piss .

Probably no provision in the PSP software for different weeks to be different hours
