So I can be scored as purple for the 1st time delivery rate because the twonks at #17 have gone away for 2 weeks and still have 5 parcels being delivered a day?

There are some areas where leaving parcels just isn't an option. I feel for people working in these areas.
I'm turning purple!

Only post people would have a problem with performance being monitored. It is literally a feature of every other job out there. I blame people who start early and those who cut corners and run around for causing this anyway, rather than RM. They have falsely represented performance for decades now by doing this, and now RM want everybody to work to these standards. Instead of blaming the union, you should have been blaming your own colleagues who have caused this to happen.

Going back to monitoring 1st time delivery is this going to be simply a case of percentage ?
If so then as someone else mentioned it's a bit unfair, we've got rural duties who get say 20 tracked per day that you can easily deliver, on the other hand town duties that are getting up to 100 where the only way to achieve 1st time delivery is to spend ages annoying the neighbours.

If/when the DPRs come into play the large parcels will be removed from the majority of core delivery routes with the likely exception of rurals.

There is also the question of staff on these DPRs and LATs who obviously will be delivering a far higher number of parcels and will be driving for a far longer period than core delivery staff and therefore at higher risk of driving infractions and potential customer complaints.

These are some of the many questions that have still to be answered.

It’s very unfair isn’t it. All rounds are equal, which is strange - last week I prepped a round with 240 ish calls which while in a rural area, 95% of it is your king streets, queens avenues etc, it had 9 tracked and 1 D2D.

I was then moved to a residential area, 10 minutes closer, with similar street layouts. It had 600 ish calls, 4 D2Ds and 131 tracked.
The day is gonna come when we’re all gonna have to testify.

Isn't time delivery...... Would have to be percentage... demographics will play a huge part here. Our round is almost totally home owners, mortgage payers, people who work. Packet turnover is huge compared to other rounds. We have a constant pile of non delivered 1st 2nd attempt daily. Looks like purple then....... :arrrghhh

Just another thought on this...... Those who prefer to work to time and not go over for whatever reason, will they be deemed to have a bad attitude? Is this commit to deliver or face the purple exit?
Annoying that half the manager's at our place couldn't do delivery yet are going to be judge jury and executioner. Seems to be ok for some on here!

Exactly my point but according to woody the point that you are making is probably just whataboutery. I'm glad he's got time to swallow the dictionary, but for me I am past caring...

It's just another stick to beat you with, if you let them. I don't trust any of their tech, they buy it for cheap and it will probably work as well as Horizon.
Then when it's found to be suspect they will run for cover.
Even the dreaded trimble is crap, said i was doing 40mph in a new development, it hasn't even got tarmac down and you couldn't do 40 even if you wanted too, Dim changed his mind and said it must have been on the road outside the development, that's ok it's a 40mph zone. Tumbleweed moment.
