And that's why we lost before we even began. I do wonder how trade unionists in the 19th century survived when there were no legal protections at all and you (and your family) faced destitution in retaliation for organising labour.Nickvilla20 wrote: ↑26 Jul 2023, 06:47The majority were struggling with losing one or two days pays never mind the whole week.

You ‘could go on but I’m not worth the effort’ until the next time I post and you will be all over it. I thought you were ignoring me now?scotchy1962 wrote: ↑26 Jul 2023, 18:05Hahaha, can nobody make a observation without your input? Do you feel the need to have your say anytime you feel slighted? Are you the only voice on here that is allowed to have the correct opinion?
I could go on but you aren't worth the effort.
You talk down to people like they are something that you have stepped in, yet complain at the insults.
When you decide to stop throwing the Yes vote in peoples faces you might get more respect.
At least you haven’t basically confirmed my previous post though in regard your ability to offer literally anything relevant to the topic being discussed. That would have been an error on your part.

When you're living in destitution as a default you can't really use destitution as a threat.
That's the difference between then and now, it's why the old comparisons don't work.
Previous generations fought for better terms and conditions because they had nothing and therefore nothing to lose. Everything in that situation is a win.

I know you think you are so self important that everything i post is about you, it isn't!
I was mearly making a observation.
And it would be difficult not to see your constant narrative, if you haven't commented on nearly every post on this forum i will be amazed.
What is it someone called you " Last word Lou" i believe a very apt name.

If the Union (the ones at the top of the inverted pyramid) haven't learnt anything by now the last thing that Royal Mail want to do is have a "joint approach"
And it does make you wonder whether they actually wanted this deal. What's the point in giving all the riff-raff a pay rise and a bonus when we can just force everything in by default anyway?

On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.
