On a side note, my mate just got a puppy and was asking for name suggestions....I said call him Lou...because he likes rolling over and having his tummy tickled! :Very Happy
We can both lick our own balls too. Something else we have in common.

Let me guess the breed - Bulldog!?

For those who say a no vote will see RM pile in and make all the changes as they see fit I ask a simple question - why haven't they done so already then?
I thought that was one of the major complaints during this dispute.
That the company was just implementing change as they saw fit?

You know..
Changes to VR..
Imposed revisions.
Changing start times.
Changing attendance patterns.

That sort of thing.
It was kind of a big deal.
voting yes will change all this? :hmmmm

Finally....

Going to be a clear yes vote and we can move on, thank god.

The worst of this deal is the sick policy changes for me.... but I can live with them. It's not worth going through a no vote and then god knows how many more months of back and forth, possibly to come out with a much worse deal, especially when the negatives of the deal aren't that bad...

Change has been implemented anyway whether we vote yes or no, change will continue to be forced in. The revisions are a joke. Our customers are getting a shoddy service, they are being ripped off, and that includes us, as we are all customers too. The only good thing about the revisions is I feel less pressure than in the past where we were pushed to clear the office. These days it's expected that you will bring mail back as the jobs are impossible to complete. Most people are bringing stuff back, so the pressure is off.

Looking forward to finally getting some extra pay after a year+ of high food prices, mortgages rising, energy rising etc....

I wouldn't be sure about that. I think you'll be in for a shock if it comes back a NO.

Historically if the union recommends a yes vote it will happen. People complaining on here or social media are a vocal minority.

Saying that history also shows us that people consistently vote against their best interests, which is why the tories have had free reign to destroy this country over the last decade or so, so no, a no result wouldn’t surprise me at this point.

I meant that Norris seemed to be under the impression it's all sorted.

Agreement reached on national statement which satisfies CWU demands. CWU comms issued tomorrow. Nation zoom call with branches next week. National joint zoom with all Reps and Managers next week. Date for ballot agreed by PEC.

Exactly.
Rep comes on yet again and promises comms today.
Then nothing.
Just astonishing.

I think anyone reading that post yesterday would expect comms today.
If you want to be pedantic about it that's up to you.
I think it's unacceptable and it's not the first time the union, or someone speaking for them, has failed to update when it was reasonable to expect one.
I would add to that the union's last update on 9th June saying we would be updated next week.
We'll have this conversation again tomorrow when it doesn't happen.

Woody is a rep as far as I know.
That post I quoted was very fact heavy, apologies for taking what a rep says as fact.
I am aware its Thursday, the reason I said tomorrow for their deadline for a promised update in the following week from the 9th.
Just plain awkward.

There only gonna be one winner n that’s not the postie that hits the streets 6 days a week is it!! Think I’m not sayin anything new to what’s been said before but we’ve all been let down guys! All of us. Keep ya heads up all of you!! We do a good job the majority of us I think and it’s just a shame ain’t it it’s goin like this.👍🏻👍🏻
