We can both lick our own balls too. Something else we have in common.
Let me guess the breed - Bulldog!?

voting yes will change all this?Woody Guthrie wrote: ↑15 Jun 2023, 16:49I thought that was one of the major complaints during this dispute. For those who say a no vote will see RM pile in and make all the changes as they see fit I ask a simple question - why haven't they done so already then?
That the company was just implementing change as they saw fit?
You know..
Changes to VR..
Imposed revisions.
Changing start times.
Changing attendance patterns.
That sort of thing.
It was kind of a big deal.
More likely a cross between the two, a bullshit
Do you know something I don't?norris9 wrote: ↑15 Jun 2023, 19:45Finally....
Going to be a clear yes vote and we can move on, thank god.
The worst of this deal is the sick policy changes for me.... but I can live with them. It's not worth going through a no vote and then god knows how many more months of back and forth, possibly to come out with a much worse deal, especially when the negatives of the deal aren't that bad...
Change has been implemented anyway whether we vote yes or no, change will continue to be forced in. The revisions are a joke. Our customers are getting a shoddy service, they are being ripped off, and that includes us, as we are all customers too. The only good thing about the revisions is I feel less pressure than in the past where we were pushed to clear the office. These days it's expected that you will bring mail back as the jobs are impossible to complete. Most people are bringing stuff back, so the pressure is off.
Looking forward to finally getting some extra pay after a year+ of high food prices, mortgages rising, energy rising etc....
Historically if the union recommends a yes vote it will happen. People complaining on here or social media are a vocal minority.
I meant that Norris seemed to be under the impression it's all sorted.LouBarlow wrote: ↑15 Jun 2023, 20:59Historically if the union recommends a yes vote it will happen. People complaining on here or social media are a vocal minority.
Saying that history also shows us that people consistently vote against their best interests, which is why the tories have had free reign to destroy this country over the last decade or so, so no, a no result wouldn’t surprise me at this point.

If you want to be pedantic about it that's up to you.
I think it's unacceptable and it's not the first time the union, or someone speaking for them, has failed to update when it was reasonable to expect one.
I would add to that the union's last update on 9th June saying we would be updated next week.
We'll have this conversation again tomorrow when it doesn't happen.
Woody is a rep as far as I know.aiden01 wrote: ↑15 Jun 2023, 23:15I'm sure woody will speak for himself but how do you come to the conclusion hes speaking on behalf of the cwu many posts on here are posted by people who think they are in the know.ile not be having the conversation tommorow unless the update comes out.so last update was 9th june this week isnt over yet btw its only thurs.Dexydog wrote: ↑15 Jun 2023, 21:53I think anyone reading that post yesterday would expect comms today.aiden01 wrote: ↑15 Jun 2023, 21:41Where in woodys quote is the word promise?Dexydog wrote: ↑15 Jun 2023, 19:07Exactly.miles_peters wrote: ↑15 Jun 2023, 18:56still waiting....Woody Guthrie wrote: ↑14 Jun 2023, 16:49Agreement reached on national statement which satisfies CWU demands.
