Yes talks are planned all week apart from the strike day Thursday. What is bizarre is those in the room from Royal Mail Rick Maculey, Stuart Mcdonald and Nick Dunn have entered into much more positive dialogue then the CEO and must be embarrassed that their CEO is engaging in some kind of social media battle.
this totally does not make any sense to me. Dave Ward specifically stated in his vid that an improved offer was going to be made this week but here's Thompson spouting off on his workshite forum that there was not going to be an offer made. he says ''he would've known about it if that was the case so its NOT true'' wtf is going on here if his negotiators are saying one thing only for him to contradict them at the first opportunity.?

Simon's rants are very similar to those of Donald Trump at the end of his presidency. He is in denial and keeps spouting rubbish that nobody other than him believes. He seems unable to stick with any serious agenda to solve the dispute. He appears to be enjoying the whole thing. People like him and Donald Trump operate in their world with a group of sycophantic followers who bolster their ego. Weird.
I did not intend to speak about the strike, but I cannot pass by when someone manipulated by media propaganda has made a comment comparing the CEO to President D Trump. This is proof of your ignorance of what is happening in the USA. I understand, of course, that you are a faithful listener of the BBC's left-wing narrative and your ultimate dream has probably been and still is to live in a communist country.
What are you on about? Did you read the post properly??

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

To be honest, Thompson spouts that much crap I can't keep track of it all - god knows how he remembers what he said - his mouth is like a waterfall sometimes

This ceo is way out of his depth in this business and has no idea how to deal with the union
Surely he must be realising that his time is up and it’s time for him to resign
Maybe he and Liz Truss should go on a date. They'd have loads in common.

Maybe ST doesn’t know about it because he’s not in charge anymore?
