100% agree it is just wrong and we need our cut just as they have had their own cut at the top and the management!

In times of 10% inflation, however, 2% is literally unacceptable.
I know we aren’t going to get an inflation-busting pay rise. But reducing our standard of living by, in effect, 8% is / was bound to provoke a negative reaction and demands for strike action
[/quote]

And imo RM wanted us to strike.Because us striking allowed them to tear up our ts and cs. I dont believe for one minute Thompson and co are going to play ball with the union. They want rid of any meaningful CWU presence. That is their jackpot. Don't forget that board "tack(le) the CWU)" They have shown complete contempt for the workforce. They will get the strikes stood down and bring in the new changes at the start of the new tax year. They will give some small concessions and sweeteners, knowing the workforce will be too strike weary to continue the fight.

When the Union get us Superior Conditions And Better pay, I hope you turn it all down.
Do you think they will get us superior conditions to what we have now?
No. But better than Royal Mail would impose on us if we weren't fighting.
Itll be exacatly what RM are offering just worded different nd a bit further down the road.

Nothing on workplace, as on here - several asked Super Si, but no replies, which is unusual for him ...

I'm hoping one of the grown-ups have muzzled him or taken way his Internet privileges.

The same as I'm hoping the grown-ups told him to vacate the negotiating room on Monday and come back at the end of the day for a trip to the soft zone ball pit.
Sooner or later, a beat dog bites.

Local rep says there will be no updates while talks are in progress.
‘No leaks at all’ he said
‘Is that one of the changes to our terms and conditions?’ says me :left:

Perhaps he's out as part of the 'keeping the mail moving' team, team, team, well done team.

Stand by for some self congratulating tweets later on today,.........

It wouldn't surprise me if he has turned up at a DO and his helping to deliver parcels today, just a pity he doesn't show similar interest in attending the meetings with the CWU.
