Point 3 of the Union demands for the ballot to go ahead is for all offices to be in receipt of their finishing times which gives the impression the business hasn't told them what they are .

Personally, the revisions are not why I am keen to vote no and am prepared to strike. The strikes were not balloted about the revisions. The changes I reject are not the changes to walk arrangements.

I think the union have just done this because they are not confident that the deal will be accepted. Fine by me for now, it sounds like RM can't change my contracted sick pay and they haven't tried altering times yet.

The difference is the union between what you said is the union is choosing to doing nothing and hoping for the best. They aren't even giving people the option to even reject the deal or vote it on. All they are doing is delaying the vote and putting the whole company in limbo when everyone fully knows the company isn't going to change these revisions within a week, especially when they've been creeping along these revisions for months now.

People have ever right to be pissed off because union were told about them happening when they reached an agreement but they chose to do nothing for weeks but promote the deal and only now are they realising RM isn't playing ball? There's so many times now in this dispute to indicate RM hasn't changed their stance, case in point the Joint Statement and guess what? The union also stated they wouldn't reach an agreement if revisions were continuing, and low and behold the actually did with no opposition to said revisions.

I'm not even sure what the union plans are now since now they haven't even given them a deadline for things to revolve. Is it to save face? Are they hoping the so called "good" managers step in? Ofcom? One thing is certain, they are cornered like rats now and don't know what holes they can crawl out of as RM is filling them with dirt and s**t.

this is a farce as we the workers have been telling the cwu what we are up against in delivery offices for ages , and they have done nothing , so we all know why they have done this , is because of this s**t agreement they are trying to get through which most have already made there minds up to vote NO so why just delay this .

As somebody pointed out the 1k is a one off and a few hundred will be taxed. I would rather have the 2 hours off my ft hour to 35 which is permanent.

Why would we want the failed revisions reversed? I’m making the most of doing as little as possible while it lasts.

I 100% agree. Also the people like me who like doing overtime, get several hours a week. Ours has been in place for like 2 years, and constantly working 50+ hours a week. Before this revision I was lucky to get 10 hours a month. If it's all reversed I'll be back on my 33 hours, and struggling to afford things.

People need to realise that your delivery could have 100'000 houses on it. Just work to your time and let them be concerned with failing etc. If you want the overtime go over. I know sometimes pressure is involved, but you can't get in trouble for working your time.

Our rep spending the past however many years rejecting the concerns of those on 30hr contracts ("part timers don't count") is backfiring now there are an equal amount of us to ft staff and he suddenly wants us all to stand by our union
