Can everyone stop wetting the bed , it’s like a load of old women on here these days .
It's peoples livelihoods mate.

You can understand why people are punchy when a decision has been made but they aren't allowed to know what it is.
You will know shortly, 4 pages of crying about it won’t change anything.
4 pages of valid protestations expresses the disquiet that the union membership feels towards the leadership

A tad misogynistic?

How appropriate it will be held at the home of Bristol City by the biggest pair of tits ever trusted to run our union.
Knock the Union all you want. But leave the wonderful BCFC out of it.
Bristol City FC - synonymous with underachievement throughout the decades. How appropriate.

Anyone still in doubt where the CWUs priorities lie?!

Sham.
Here are the CWU's priorities.

1/ Their continued existence. (subs)
2/ The well being of their representatives.
3/ The well-being of the membership. We are last.

You can't help other people if you are unwell yourself - same for individuals as for organisations.

Tick the NO box be as brave as a nurse.
Different scenario , nurses are paid by the govt who will just borrow more money to add to their already un pay backable debt. RM actually have to find money from doing good business. And we all know how crap they are at running that.
The government doesn't have any money of it's own, that money is ours, public debt will have to be paid for by future taxpayers.
Yes, true, but future taxpayers are too young to understand [or be bothered by] that and the current politicians in power will be long gone by the time the sh*t hits the fan.

Given the list of failing offices in the BS postcode area, perhaps getting out on delivery for a few hours might be a good thing for the full time release bods.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

I expected as much soon as they said we going over it two days. Pretty standard CWU move to hold briefings near end of week. Gotta agree with the settlements that should just say what is going on rather than just drag it out like this if they were that confident in it. Either way you look at it, they have fumed the hell outta this dispute recently. Can't even say I have confidence they'll even get us a better pay deal if this one is rejected but they wanted to push this one forward. You'd be striking for an even worse deal the rate it's going on. In hindsight, they really should of strike hard first time round but that momentum has long gone. The strikes, the London March, the committee, all in smokes.

I am not expecting anything even half decent, most likely it will be the same deal we were offered last time but wrapped in a golden paper. It will get voted in make no mistake about that. People are fed up and they will go for anything just to end this sad period, we are beaten already and we were played.

It's time to accept our fate now and take whatever they throw at us. I would be extremely suprised if this deal will be much improved or if it won't it gets a no vote. It doesn't matter if they publish the details this week or in 2-3weeks time. At this point there is nothing we can do anyway, it is over for us, job is finished, at least in deliveries.
I don't think we will.
