To achieve it every unit would have to overachieve their revision target and their processing realignment targets. If you have seen your year 2 revision target you will know this is pie in the sky stuff.

Yes talks are planned all week apart from the strike day Thursday. What is bizarre is those in the room from Royal Mail Rick Maculey, Stuart Mcdonald and Nick Dunn have entered into much more positive dialogue then the CEO and must be embarrassed that their CEO is engaging in some kind of social media battle.

Neither of those points are correct.

The share price was lower under Rico Back.

The operating loss is only to do with Royal Mail. GLS is on target to make £350 million profit.

Tony Bouch who is a member of the Postal Executive with the CWU shouldn't he keep himself more informed. It's things like this that devalue what the union stand for.

The whole social media shenanigans devalues both sides. Simon Thomson does let himself down quite a lot but you cannot say you don't know what he is about and what he wants.

On the other hand, the CWU Twitter and Facebook outputs are just beyond the pale; if people not already riled, it is not helping; the language is appalling...

One of the post on twitter today was widely panned by the contributors; perhaps that was because the ultras in delivery are busy but public support is not fully there
