Re: Payrise
Just curious about the s**t state of the business, forgetting Rico for a minute, what the f**k was Moya doing for the MILLIONS that she got paid while she was here?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: Payrise
Nothing, they are just journey men. Going from business to business chopping and cutting. They collect their vast salary then move onto to somewhere else. They have little interest in the actual business because they know they have 5 years max before they get head hunted to somewhere else. They are part of the elite little club that even if they fail they get offered another role somewhere else.

Re: Payrise
400 million goes to shareholders and the workers get a pay decrease ? Weve just been through a pandemic and the worst revisions in our history , sickened by it all. The service is awful i used to be a proud posty but they dont care about the customers anymore or us( not that they did)

What pisses me off is that we knew what was going to go wrong with these revisions before it happened but they didn't want to listen.yellowbelly wrote: ↑14 Apr 2022, 21:13Some changes need 'redoing' - ffs, get them done right first time like you want us to deliver parcels 'first time'.

Sounds like it could well be around around parcel deliveries, Simon's being banging on recently that the vans are only used for a few hours a day.
As far as the unemployment rate increasing, the forecast is a slight increase from 3.8% to 4%, I can't really see if affecting consumer spending to any great degree.

100% they're going to approach the hours and trying to get us to work later evenings in an attempt to implement timed deliveriesTopperGas wrote: ↑14 Apr 2022, 22:24Sounds like it could well be around around parcel deliveries, Simon's being banging on recently that the vans are only used for a few hours a day.

Re: Payrise
Are you for real?? You simply can’t be serious with that comment! Just imagine what your job would be like now if it wasn’t for the CWU. Just a hint, Rico would still be in charge and all his ideas would have been implementedwazer wrote: ↑15 Apr 2022, 21:02I left the CWU cause of this bullshit. Like to see how many more have left. Re: Payrise
Its easy to bash the union but as number one said some resistance is better than none at all I've worked in places with no union and the company's WILL get away with the absolute bare minimum.

Yes, quite naive really to think leaving the union will in anyway improve things personally or collectively.postieblueshirt wrote: ↑16 Apr 2022, 10:06Has to be said the union at the moment are dire but leaving is playing into royal mails hands.
