Other 85% is you don't need to know because by the time the details are out, people would have accepted just for the £1500 and when the monies gone realise it was a crap deal they agreed to.

I think we all need to be prepared for RM trying to whack through a load more EA now with the talks having broken down

That's the suggestion in today's Telegraph articleSpacePhoenix wrote: ↑05 Apr 2023, 20:27I think we all need to be prepared for RM trying to whack through a load more EA now with the talks having broken down
It is expected that Royal Mail, led by Keith Williams and Simon Thompson, who are chairman and chief executive respectively, will begin unilaterally imposing workplace reform on its employees.
The only change that Royal Mail cannot do without union consent is to force staff to begin work later so that deliveries can be made over a longer period of the day.
A ramp-up of Sunday services will likely result in a greater number of agency staff being used.

I think the union have done there best in trying to get us and any new employees coming into the business a good deal.
Unfortunately the union are now at a crossroads where if we strike the business could go into administration resulting in more job losses. Or give the members a vote on the pay.
Nobody knows what else they want from us if the agreement is drawn up properly. Do we still get 6 month's full sick pay? Will we be pulled into the office every other day asking why we stopped for 5 mins because we all need the toilet now and again? Will the revisions be more realistic than just drawn up by Mickey mouse and fingers crossed the managers get there bonus?
I really do feel for the new starts as I can see there is no future for them if there T&C's are worse than ours.
