Re: Escrow Facts
The conspiracist inside of me suggests if they periodically stop overtime for different offices at different times, suddenly it’s hard to meet the 8 hour minimum overtime amount for average holiday pay, which of course was helpfully agreed by our fabulous union.
The day is gonna come when we’re all gonna have to testify.

Re: Escrow Facts
In October the Royal Mail had to make an emergency cash call into the pension fund as the Truss fiasco caused meltdown and were bailed out by the Bank of England. . Now with Bond markets arguably in a worse state than then, the RM have this extra money to bribe postmen. Its frightening really what is going on .

Yes,our office is in so much s**t its a free for all with overtime, its amazing what money does to people.enskied wrote: ↑17 Jun 2023, 19:07Our overtime ban was this week Woody, it appears they may be doing this office by office rather than all out. Not a second of OT at ours this week.Woody Guthrie wrote: ↑17 Jun 2023, 17:09Since the real hot issue is quality of service and the business is massively understaffed I very much doubt it, there's so much overtime at my place next week they can't find enough warm bodies to cover it.
Not that I do any.

Re: Escrow Facts
Our office is now full of agency staff, the wonders of an Ofcom investigation into USO failures I suppose.
As for loads of jobs out there, I suppose it depends on where you live.

Give us the money and let us get on with our jobs. The overtime ban is the start of the purge.
Time to come to our senses and save our jobs.
