Unfortunately you're probably right. You only have to look at some of the conversation RM had with the hackers, RM basically say ' go on then, we dare you' what happened? Fxck allPost69 wrote: ↑12 Apr 2023, 09:12We lost the power of our industrial action at Christmas 2022 when Royal Mail practically encouraged us to take strikes in Xmas pressure So to think that going on strike around may 4th is going to make any difference? It’s completely delusional! These guys at the top have shown many many times over the last 9 months that they don’t give a Shite weather your outside huddling around your brazier! The ballot papers for the local elections are as we know letters and Thompson and his disciples don’t want to deliver letters that’s been obvious in the constant lies to the media and the government select committee and has any of these constant lies been challenged? Absolutely nothing has been done in fact I would even go as far to say the Royal Mail board and investors have actively encouraged this lot to deceive the public! Unfortunately we are going to have to put up with whatever comes out of this car crash or leave?derricksmyth wrote: ↑08 Apr 2023, 17:44I think there is no chance of us striking before May 4th due to the Local Elections anyway. I think this is why the channels of communication are being kept open from our end, even though management have walked away!

It will be interesting to see what happens when RM stop subs being taken through payroll in October, I believe they gave 12 months notice of this last year. Wonder how many will set a direct debit up?

Taking money for third party organisations is very lucrative for Royal Mail as they get £1.00 processing fee for every transaction. Can't see them giving up over 100k every week in revenue.

Re: What is the future for CWU
Are you seriously saying that almost a third of every members' CWU weekly subscription fees are kept by RM?? I wonder what members will think about that, in my over 25 years of paying union subscriptions I heard about this! Not only do I find that hard to believe, but if that even was to be the case - it's been kept very quiet by both parties!

Re: What is the future for CWU
Never said that Royal Mail specifically charges the CWU for subs deductions, though cannot see why not.
For all we know, the CWU might pay it on behalf of the member at a reduced rate, or not at all as they recognised the CWU for collective bargaining
Simply stated deductions from payroll, a £1.00 administration fee is charged.

Careful. We all know that when he's called out on his BS it's twisted into bullying and harassment and then reported to Royal Mail and the thread gets locked.Cedar_Room wrote: ↑13 Apr 2023, 10:43Best one yet Filthy Lenredlen wrote: ↑12 Apr 2023, 20:11Never said that Royal Mail specifically charges the CWU for subs deductions, though cannot see why not.
