It’s mind boggling to me people think we are going to get anything better than this deal. Yeah its crap and that’s after striking at the busiest time of year what the hell do you think striking in spring will do other than give Royal Mail back more of our wages
Some people live in fairly land and think the CWU can get us a gold plated 10% no strings attached pay rise

We have seen executive action after executive action brought in even with so called joint statements. What do you think will happen next
Strike or every aspect of your job will be screwed to the most they can get away with, if they win this dont believe Ricky they will definitely push ahead to a gig economy, ill take my chances and vote NO to this deal,2% payrise this year they are truly taking the piss.

What happened to the full and final offer ? Were you willing to accept that as well ?
Have we been offered more than the “full and final offer” or has it just been tweaked to cover 3 yrs.

So if I'm being paid 37 hours for a 35 hour week does that mean I can do 35 hours overtime in a week and likewise if I'm working a 39 hour week for 37 hours pay does that mean I can only do 31 hours overtime?

Just asking....,,.

There won't be any overtime that's the whole idea people do your jobs properly then there will be no flexibility time that is why they brought in the PDA and SISO you finish early you do more for no extra pay it ain't rocket science but you can't explain it to the runners and early starters we have all ruined our own jobs :arrrghhh :arrrghhh :arrrghhh

Have to agree it is the runners and those who continual refuse to use the mandatory equipment that has caused this with cutting the job up.

Royal Mail has all that lovely PDA Data to back up their claim with adding extra onto deliveries

Not really their fault, is it?
Surely it's the failings of the management.

Oh, I forgot, you don't actually work on delivery do you Redlen.
Are you just paid to come on here and be a pillock?

Thing is, once this is in, they will come for those who dont complete like the runners and work free people do. Every tool will be used to up the pressure on you and wear you down. Even if your delivery is unachievable doing the job to their own rules. "performance standards." And dont forget the union will be virtually ineffective and have no clout to help. That has always been their sneaky end game.

Has anyone ever asked about the CO2 their delivery has generated. I haven’t , but it appears to concern the board , except when there are 3 or more vans often in the same road on lapsing duty.

No I hoped the Christmas strikes would have much more effect but obviously they didn’t. What do you think the end game is here?. You think we will get a better offer? . All changes that have already happened reversed ?. I will never cross a picket line but I’m not stupid to think this is going to end well

Wow! How did you manage to do so many videos (wearing the same clothes with the same interviewer in the same room as your video last week? :hmmmm ) it’s almost as if you knew the outcome of the talks a week ago? A conspiracy theorist would suggest you are manipulating the entire process and have no intention of making a deal?
Or they were planning ahead - what happens if the talks break down.
When are Ward and Furey going to grace us with their version of events? Later today?

Do the CWU have a contingency plan?
I believe there is a broadcast at 7pm tonight
Yep. The usual party spoiler friday night broadcast when people have started their weekends and want to switch off
Its Thursday

First 20% of operating profit will
be shared with eligible employees.

who or what will be an 'eligible employees ' ?

No compulsory redundancies for the life
of the agreement.

the agreement could end the day after it gets accepted !

16:30 last letter delivery time.

so packets could be delivered much later ?
16.30 last letter, so around 17.00 finish back at the office

The thing with the new entrance getting made up over 5 years = minimum wage rising to what we currently get hence making them equal in 5 years time.

It’s a shite deal all round.
