Even if we win this dispute, we've already lost. Do you think Royal Mail will undo a single revision they've forced through?
I'm finished with RM from the end of this week and I've never been so happy to walk away from a job. What have the CWU achieved in all these months of strike action? We've been played like a cheap fiddle by RM.
Managers are so blinkered they can't see they're next in line for the shafting we're currently suffering.

Our monstrous revision was reversed, however things do seem to have taken a big turn for the worse recently, its anyone's guess how things will look even by the summer, crying shameAsmad wrote: ↑01 Feb 2023, 10:10Even if we win this dispute, we've already lost. Which revision did your office successfully get reversed?
Every revision in our office is being swallowed like a giant spoonful of
without any real complaint.
Our absorbed walks have been divided up in the most haphazard way without sense or reason. My (about to be my former) walk has had around 90 minutes added to it starting the week after next, while other walks have only had 15 to 20 mins added.
I haven't seen the point in complaining as I'll not be there to have to deliver it, and management seem to think an agency worker with a week's training will be good enough to cover the duty

An all out strike is needed to bring it back from the brink.

Our line managers had better watch out they don’t get their contracts ripped up and turned into team leaders . That’s already happened elsewhere. Think of the savings the company could make.Asmad wrote: ↑01 Feb 2023, 10:10Even if we win this dispute, we've already lost. Are those with kids able to start at the old time? One hour later for me means missing the school run.koolishy67 wrote: ↑01 Feb 2023, 09:58They gave us one month notice today our starting time going to change one hour late from 1 march![]()

Speak to your manager when your office is proposing the changes.moonjaguar wrote: ↑01 Feb 2023, 17:07Are those with kids able to start at the old time? If you van share it may need a bit more thought accommodating you than it would if you worked on your own.

One hour later? Yeah I’d be happy with that. There’s much worse.

Royal Mail bringing in the changes THEY want, not what we want....
Again - they are shafting you and they don't care...
Shaft them back by not working a single minute for free. No starting early, no finishing late, take every minute of your breaks. No rushing. Do the van checks.

’You can't just ask customers what they want and then try to give that to them. By the time you get it built, they'll want something new.’
