may as well just give into RM and suffer the consequences WE NEED A WORK TO RULE CWU !

I was on the picket, the person calling me a SCAB wasn't, so maybe they went into work? Who knows..

It's Royal Mail who are missing a trick here. It is them not the CWU who should impose an overtime ban since it is overtime that is allowing people to carry on striking. Again it just shows how effective the strikes are. Royal Mail will not impose an overtime ban because they are getting desperate, this works in our favour. We just have to carry on observing the strike days. We don't need infighting.

There are two opinions
(1) Dont work your day / come in early / extend / take extra out
(2) Opposite of (1)

Its the much the same in my office. Those doing (1), still doing (1). Those doing (2) still doing (2).

Neither is doing anything wrong. I understand why posties do either one.

What I dont get is why are we fighting amongst ourselves over it. The CWU have allowed it.

There's no point in striking at all if you're going to do that. You might as well be coming in on the strike day.

Don't be silly norris, whether you like it or not, in the absence of a work to rule mandate he's not doing anything wrong especially if that was a typical work pattern for him/her pre industrial action. I don't necessarily agree with the extent of overtime they've chosen to do, doing a whole extra duty, seems a bit excessive, but their call really. Main thing is they support the strike action.

You’re not a scab mate. Do what you gotta do. I have people in my office doing the same and there is no hard feelings towards them.

As long as you don’t work on strike days I don’t see what the problem is.
