I don’t see how the fcuk you will make much of a profit doing this. You have to pay for your van, fuel and insurance. They ask you on the application form how much you will charge per loaded mile, but basically be careful as the amount you charge could affect how much work you get.

Re: Job ideas
They can’t even get the crappy ‘jeans, t shirt and white van’ jobs right can they?! Most other self employed couriers give so many pennies/pounds for each successfully delivery. Not RM though, it has to be confusing and leave it open to the applicant guessing what they should put on the form.SMS1969 wrote: ↑18 Oct 2022, 14:37I don’t see how the fcuk you will make much of a profit doing this. It’s a bit like those job interviews where they ask how much you think you should be paid - too high and they won’t employ you. Too low and they’ll think you don’t have confidence in yourself and you end up selling yourself short.
Absolute amateurs.
The day is gonna come when we’re all gonna have to testify.

Re: Job ideas
They ask that because they will give the work to the person who will deliver for the cheapest price.
If 1 person says 50p and another person says 42p , who do you think will get the work ?
Like a reverse auction

You can earn quite a good amount working for RM if you go through manpower, I was looking yesterday, thinking of transferring, looking at doing 40 hours a week, £630, where do I sign? I joke but just check out all the RM jobs on there, well over 300 of them.
