I wish I didn't really need this job. It's horrible working for millionaires. It's so unrewarding. The problem now is every supposed "unskilled " job , which I personally disagree with this being, is cplete crap. So where do you go. What do you do instead. Answers please. One thing is for sure 30 or so thousand will have to leave to get their kids from school. God dam these revolting people

I left the job a year ago and managed to get an office job at my local authority working in Finance. 4 days a week working from home (8-2) and 1 morning in the office. Polar opposite management style (they frown upon you working too hard ) and pay/benefits package is good. I still miss the old job (covered a number of rural duties) but it was getting too hard year on year with bigger duties and constant pressure.

The last few years has been a mixture of treading water and firefighting at Royal Mail. If the delivery isn't hard enough now, it's set to get tougher and we've got the eternal politics swirling around aswell.

There's more to life than what we've been reduced to here.

I long for the days of putting a few recorded stickers on a piece of paper, handing it in next day. Handful of door knocks a day, was a real pleasure.
