I don't think anyone is looking for a specific reaction, just some kind of reaction other than ignorance and apathy.

Ignorance and apathy are dangerous no matter what side of the political fence you happen to sit.
It is and I wonder if we have three clowns in government Rishi Truss and Boris Hoping we we forget to vote next time!

Again then, how can you make the judgement that they're ignorant and/or apathetic?
That woman who drove through the picket line to find the callers office shut may have been gritting her teeth not to say what she felt given that she was out-numbered and probably wouldn't want the confrontation.
Equally she may be fully in support of the strike but had more important things on her mind other than "I can't pick up my parcel".
Ultimately a few days strike by RM staff probably doesn't loom large in most people's minds despite what some on here would appear to think.

Ignorance is past caring is that what the employers have done by refusing talks and a belligerent attitude to all staff managers included the £1000 bribe will not stave them or others from the rampant inflation. Due to Conservative policy and inaction if you can justify this how many more atrocities must we endure for the failed Brexit!

I always bear this in mind when I feel the urge to just disconnect from the Political Scene. The antics of Westminister Politicians often stuns me but I think, "If I don't vote for something different nothing's going to change"! :cuppa

I know from past experience that the Political Situation in NI is a completely confusing Clusterfuck. Good Luck dealing with that Aiden! :cuppa
