The attack on sick pay is sickening.
I am rarely off sick, but this Ricky guy is claiming this sick pay change helps those who are rarely sick - how?!!!??!!
At some point my luck will run out and I'll be sick twice or more in a year and have those 3 days off on a 2nd sickness absence and the company will leave me without pay for 3 days.... depending on how many hours you work then that's probably £200+ gone.
The sick leave changes do not benefit anyone.
If you're going to do something like this - do it on the 3rd or 4th sickness, not the 2nd sickness.
Someone could be off with a bad back for just 1 day and then somewhere down the line might suffer with covid for a week and you think they don't deserve sick pay?!?!

Its reading to me like the union have already agreed to a lot of the changes. We will soon find out.

Have to agree with you but sickness is not the biggest problem RM faces its lack of engagement and this whole place will descend in to a death spiral with the s**t shower of leadership and management could not run a bath!norris9 wrote: ↑06 Apr 2023, 17:13The attack on sick pay is sickening.
