Thank you, although it probably means less chance of getting it now as it’s gone from 12 weeks to 39!!!Hockeygull wrote: ↑21 Nov 2022, 16:51Re split service
I'm on my second stint and enquired if both lots count.
The answer suggested it was aggregate time so both stints are eligible, provided they are on a Royal Mail contract and not agency.
Hope this is of help.

Re: Are you going to apply for the redundancy on offer?
I've asked via the app, is this all we do at this point ?
I've been there 11 years and its 33 weeks and about £5.5k of the 6K
its not really good value for anyone who's got more service than me, but I feel this is as good as I'll get and a good time to get out
I dont think for a minute I'll get it but I certainly won't if I dont apply
I love the job but just know I'll step on the crack in a pavement soon and be sacked for it

It's just a preference exercise at the moment, so they're just looking for people who are interested in VR.harry hill wrote: ↑21 Nov 2022, 20:33I've asked via the app, is this all we do at this point ?

I assume if they want to offer it, they'll be in touch in due course.

I don’t think as many as 60,000 have applied.

It's based on your current pay rate.

It might have been that 60k checked to see what they would get but have no intention in going.srilfc2013 wrote: ↑22 Nov 2022, 15:58Just what the manager told me. But we all know what they're capable of. Big up the lies

Who gives a s**t, I'd go if they offer me the statuatory redundancy. I'll go tomorrow with absolutely zero hesitation.arsenalbob wrote: ↑22 Nov 2022, 16:13We was told at the gate meeting the 6k carrot has now been withdrawn.

It's still part of the deal on the app. You lot want to stop listening to rumours. The union don't want us accepting it as it isn't as good as MTSF. I don't care, I just want to leave.arsenalbob wrote: ↑22 Nov 2022, 16:13We was told at the gate meeting the 6k carrot has now been withdrawn.

That would reduce the uptake by more than 70% at least in my opinion.
It makes up at least a quarter of the offer.
Although would sum the greed of the company up fairly well.
