Just my opinion - if the CWU leaders think they can get a ballot over the line they’re delusional. Your asking long serving demoralised workforce to go out on strike to improve new starters terms and conditions.

The new T&Cs we voted to accept after the last dispute
and more than half the new starters are non union members.

Again this is only my opinion but if the leadership thinks they can get a strike mandate then I’ve got some magic beans they can buy - clowns 🤡
Workers do support each other regardless of when they started. They also understand that the conditions of one workers are or will be the conditions of all workers. What workers dont support is Ward and Walsh's pisspoor trade unionism. Workers want independent rank and file fighting back trade unionism. We wont get that with the current CWU leadership and executive.
How can you say what employees want when you've never visited DO's etc to ask them? I sense many know it's pointless trying to fight RM as if they are prepared to ignore OFCOM regarding postal delays they certainly aren't going to worry about it's workforce. Unless the Labour party grows a pair and deals with RM riding rough shod over ever agreement the workers/union have no chance of getting anywhere.

We do support each other. It's a fact.

They have mentioned afew times that individual offices can have their own ballot if executive action is forced through. My office would vote to strike as we have been kicked enough.

30p if the payrise gets delayed due to inflation being over 3%
60p if its not delayed and we get 2%
