I already go in 45 mins early for free anyway because I love the company and I’m a mug so no change here. Although I might still go in 45 mins early on top of the extra 24 mins added, I like to get prepped before the less insane people start so I can bitch how s**t and slow they are to management……

Kidding obviously but sadly it’s true for some
This is true for like half the people in my office 😂

If the company goes into administration your not going to get your money they owe you, only 14 minutes on a Monday & Tuesday as it takes us over the 7 hours so get our 10 minute break they took off us in April so we are leaving 10 minutes early tomorrow ,cant see it having much impact i ain't going to do anymore.
if the company goes into admin I sense the least of our worries will be losing a few hours pay!!
Not me mate i couldn't give a f--k about Royal Mail its a means to an end those days are well and truly over i now do as little as possible, they dont care for me and i dont care for them :chuckle :chuckle :chuckle

If it puts you over 7hrs then yes, for example at our place 2 days a week were 7hrs so now they're 7.24 so it's only 14 minutes extra work, having said that when it gets to next summer period we'll have 3 days under

So the holidays that I didn't choose to have but were allocated in autumn months now cost more of my entitlement. What a load of bollocks.

Dosnt it balance out? A week off in this period uses 39 hrs but a week in summer will use 35 hrs etc,you still get your full allocation. I'm not sure what's going on with the reduction of leave on the app though :hmmmm

It won't balance out as the summer is in next years allocation, RM should not be taking hours away from 22/23 holiday allowance

I'm going to assume the reduction in hours shouldnt have happened and it will be sorted like the sick leave thing has been

This is what was said in the FAQ's:
18 How will this work in the first year of the
scheme, if all our leave has already been booked into the PSP
system?

There will be no change to your booked and planned annual
leave under Seasonal Variation. For the annual leave year of
2023 to March 2024, if there is any deficit in your annual leave
balance caused by Seasonal Variation, then this will be waived,
so you do not lose out.

It's hours not booked they've took, not hours booked, so instead of having 3 days still to pick I've now only 2

Not true.
I have looked on the app and they have added on hours to the weeks showing as booked for both weeks at the end of this month.
So a net paper loss as it stands now.
Regardless of whether booked or not.
This needs clarification as to whether this evens out over this leave year and the next.
I have already emailed union HQ.
I honestly can't see a way this can be done fairly for everyone and in every scenario.
In respect of everyone being treated the same regardless when any leave is booked.
I reckon the union have dropped the ball on this one.

For it to be waived they'll have to manually adjust it in PSP

You're right, what I meant was you had hours left to pick, now they've took them, it was 37 hr week when you picked it now it's 39, just not right
